• hello,

i am using the themeboy plugin on my sportspress baseball site and have a weird issue with the mobile page. when browsing on a mobile device, our players list table is not able to be sorted (cannot click on a heading such as RBI and sort).

is this a limitation of the plugin or is there something i need to do to enable this?

    thanks!

sorry, the website is https://onehitters.thedietrichfamily.ca for reference if you need it.

I’m not having any issue on an iPad mini. Anyone want to try with an android device?

i have an issue even in a web browser on a desktop it seems when the theme switches to the mobile view. i am using opera and it is fine on full screen, but as soon as i shrink the screen size down to show the mobile version, that functionality goes away.

So, this is probably an issue with the browser and not necessarily a problem with mobile support.

I tried IE on Win8 full screen and then shrunk it down pretty small -> no issue.
I tried Chrome and did the same thing – no issue
I tried Firefox – no issue
I don’t have Opera to try this on, sorry.

if you shrink the screen size, refresh the page after that and you should see the impact. i have done it on all browsers and had the effect. i feel it is something in CSS or javascript that turns off the sorting if the screen size at the time of page load is a certain size.

Hi @gator8 thanks for helping again!

@paul.dietrich I’m sending this to our dev team so they can clarify if that’s by design or not.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi!

So, table sorting is only activated for devices greater than 640 pixels width. this was to get around a conflict with responsive tables that we used in the past.

But discussing with our dev team, it looks like we can remove this limitation now, as mobile devices have evolved enough to deal with that kind of code. So you can expect it working in the next update! ??

    Kind Regards,
