Hi there! I just installed your plugin – it looks awesome! I was wondering if I can bring available (in stock) products to the top of the page so that unavailable product show below? If yes, could you please refer me to the documentation?

Thanks for your help in advance!

  • Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out about our Extra Product Sorting Options plugin. I’m happy to help get you some answers here ??

If you go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog, you can select Available Stock</stock> under the Add Product Sorting heading. Could you let me know if that option works for you?

    Cheers,
    Patrick

    Hey,

Sorry to type into this thread but I am after the same thing, however when I use the search by available stock it just gives me a 404 error page and does not work. Im using the divi theme but can not get this to work at all.

    Any ideas?

    Warmest Regards

    Justin

Question about this sorting option. Does it only work on simple products? I installed it and tried using it on a section that only had variable products and when I chose the sort by availability it populated out of stocks products. The item that came up as zero quantity.

    Hey @chumidor,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorting is based on the stock availability of parent products rather than using the stock available at the variation level.

A workaround to get the variable products to appear before the out of stock products would be to set an available stock for the parent product in the Inventory tab by enabling “Manage stock” and setting the available stock for all variations. You can still manage stock at the variation level.

If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our FAQs for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Erica
