Sorting products shop page

    Hi,

    Is it possible to sort the products bij default on Categories?
    For example;
    I’ve got the parent categorie Stoelen, with children barstoel, fauteuil and krukken.
    The products which do not belong in the childrens categorie are only available in the parent categorie. The parent categorie is sort by Alphabet so the ‘stoelen’ are sorted after the barstoel, fauteuil and krukken.

    Now I would like to set the sorting too; first the products which belong only in the parent categorie and then the products in the children categories.

    Is this possible??

    Hi there,

    If you are displaying products through WooCommerce Category pages, it’s possible to sort products for a specific category as explained here

    Note that ‘Default product sorting‘ must be set from Appearance > Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog so the sorting is reflected on your categories listings.

    I would suggest checking out the WooCommerce blocks that are now the easiest and most flexible way to display your products on posts and pages on your WooCommerce site. Read more about all the available WooCommerce blocks here.
