Sound alert nofications on posts, comments, pages

  • After much searching, I cannot find a plugin or option for configuring audio/audible notifications for new posts/comments/pages. There should be something out there and, if not, I’m suggesting it as a new feature.

    Users should be able to select to receive a ping/beep for a new post/comment/page (either select all or select which ones).

    I would love to have something like this as well for an intranet site I’m building. Similar to a chat, the user would receive a beep when there is a new post and the post page would refresh.
