Source code displaying "name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">
-
Hi guys,
Our website is not being indexed by Google. Upon closer inspection I have noticed that on the sixth line of the website’s source code this code appears:
name=”robots” content=”noindex,nofollow”><meta
I have checked all my plugins to see if I could find any boxes that have been ticked to non index the site but I have found nothing.
The plugins used on our site are:
– Display Widgets
– Easy Content Types
– Employee Plugin
– Google Analytics for WordPress
– Meteor Slides
– Page Title URL Plugin
– Respond.js
– ShareThis
– W3 Total Cache
– WordPress Post Tabs
– WordPress SEO
– WP Open Graph
– Wufoo Shortcode Plugin
– Yoast BreadcrumbsOur webdeveloper is at a loss as to why this issue is occurring and cannot give us an explanation as to why we are not being indexed and I haven’t been able to find anything definitive online.
