    Hi –

I see the answer was resolved by email but not publically. What is the source you use to get home valuations? My client is inquiring. AlsoI inputted my address and the value I got for my own home is off by about $100,000 (too low).

Is there a place in the code where I can adjust the average price per square foot?

    Thanks,
    Sally

    Hi Sally!

Our data is aggregated from sales records in the various MLS databases, as well as public record sales not typically included in MLS…such as FSBOs (For Sale By Owner), new construction, etc.

Send us an email to [email protected] with the property address you saw the above mentioned discrepancy on. Keep in mind that no automated valuation system is going to replace an actual CMA (Comparative Market Analysis), or appraisal, but we definitely like to know if our values are way off the mark.

We do not offer the ability to manipulate the returned valuation in any way at this time.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Pricing algorithm has been updated across the board as well to reflect more accurate home valuations. Please update to 2.14 to see the changes!
