SP footer logo and link does not open in a new tab

    Hi,

    I have just checked the SP logo in the footer to see where the ‘about simple:press’ link goes to. It does not open in a new tab.

    I appreciate that using the free versions might have some branding. But taking users away from my website is not acceptable.

    Can this be fixed?

    Hi,

    We will consider opening the link in a new tab in future versions.

    In my opinion it’s pretty discreet and looking at our analytics, less than a handful of people per week click in on it across all installs of the plugin, but If you need to you could always hide it with css, something like this:

    .spAck {
   display: none !important;
}

    It’s fine for analytics but it is poor web design.
