Space below ContactUs Widget

  • I downloaded Creativo5 and within the theme is an element “WordPress ContactUs”. The problem I’m having is that it adds around 80px below the contact info. But! there is no way to change this spacing. FYI, There is no padding within my column or row.

    All I’m trying to do is put an email link between two separators but I get 80px of blank space below the email, which looks really weird.

    I also noticed this same element is in the footer and is doing the same thing, adding too much space below.

    Also, why is my footer so huge? I have deleted that contact widget and only have a one line of text. I have 60px below of empty space and another bar for copyright info that I’m not using.

    I’m not sure why so much is so customizable and then there are these elements that are not. But these aren’t third party elements, they are WordPress specific elements.

  • Padding is controlled by the CSS in themes and plugins.

    And options to change various settings in themes are completely up to the theme author. It’s just not practical to allow options for every element.
