Space between image and excerpt

    My excerpts have a left-aligned image that the text wraps around. In my blog, I have hspace="5" but the latest posts widget seems to strip that out, so the images are right next to the text. I’ve tried manually adding hspace="5" to the LPS text in the footer but it made no difference. Is there a way to get a bit of space added here?

    Hi,

    I am not sure I understand well your setup. The hspace does not seem to be related to the LPS attributes, maybe you need to use default_padding="1rem". Can you send a link to your page where I can check the output or some screenshot of how it looks now and your shortcode string?

    Hi, thanks for responding. The site is https://www.lawlessfrench.com/ and LPS is in the footer. I added default_padding="1rem" but as you can see, the left-aligned images are still right up against the text.

    I could test and understood better the nesting. You could try with the gap attributes instead default_gap="1.5rem" https://imgur.com/a/5oB8TwQ
