Space between site title and gallery different from home page

  • Looking for some help, I love the Theme but I am having trouble getting my pages to match.

    My homepage has a space between the title of the website and the gallery, this is what I want it to look like. But when I click on a subsequent page from the menu I have setup, the gap widens! I can’t figure out why it’s doing this.

    Here is the code I am using to get the space right – but this seems to affect the homepage only.

    .page-header { display: none; }
    figure.entry-image { display: none; }
    .site-header { padding-left: none; padding-top: 40px; padding-bottom: 40px; }
    .site-footer { display: none; }
