    Hello everyone,

I was just trying out to translate my website using the Translatepress Plugin and so far I have been very pleased with how it works and how easy it is. The only problem I have run into is that, when I am translating a blog post, the formatting is off sometimes. By Formatting I mean especially spaces between different strings like when I have one word in my Sentence Bold there would not be a Space inbetween “Bold” and “there”. This is really annoying as I have already put spaces in my translation multiple times and it seems to work in the preview but once I press save changes and then load the page in a different window, that change can’t be seen.
I have already seen this post about it and tried following the given instructions of copying that space character but even this led to no success and there was still no change in my translated page.

I really hope that this issue is fixable or I will unfortunately have to find an other plugin to use for translating my Webpages.

    Hello Julian,

Could you try adding another whitespace character?

If this doesn’t work, please point me to the exact location of this issue.

    Let me know!

    With the best regards,

Hi Dragos, thanks for the reply! I have already tried copying the whitespace that was posted in the other topic and that did not resolve the issue either. Now I also tried what would happen with an enter key but that did not do anything either. How do I correctly add a “Whitespace character”?
One point in the link I provided would be in the German translation after the second post photo (Paragraph under the heading “Wo werdet ihr duschen und Kleidung waschen?”). In that paragraph I have included a link to Wikicamps and after that hyperlink I can not manage to get a Space included.
There are many more like this but this one is the first in this post and I would be happy to get this resolved.

    Best Regards

    Hi again Julian,

Try using our translation block to translate the paragraph as a whole and paste a whitespace character after the link.

Can you please send me screenshots so I can see how did you insert the characters?

Hi Dragos, thank you very much for your reply.

By using the method above described it is working fine. I just have to use the block method instead of translating strings. This is what I did for the paragraphs of the article where it applied and it worked flawlessly, thank you!

I would also be happy about an inclusion of this feature being automatically adapted in the translation process so that one doesn’t need to do it this slightly more complicated way.

    Best Regards
    Julian
