Spacing Around Gutenberg Blocks

Great question! This is very likely related to your theme. In general, you should try to fix this in the theme settings (if available), but this custom CSS will remove the large spaces for you:

.wp-embed-responsive .wp-block-embed.wp-embed-aspect-4-3 .wp-block-embed__wrapper:before {
    padding-top: 0 !important;
}
