Spam Blocking ?

Search is broke. No one knows when it won’t be broke. Check the big pink sticky at the top of the forum for how to search using google….

1. Search doesn’t work, but there is a nice “sticky” post on the main page explaining how to search ??
2. There are all kind of articles in the Codex:

3. If you use WP 2.0 you have the akismet plugin in it, just have to activate it.
4. Two very useful and popular antispam plugins

I see lately a new type of spam is being spread that does not get blocked by spam karma. Its very annoying, they spam is bascially well written paragh saying that your site is great and a link with the spammer sites keywords in it and the he will mention your site in his college, in aricle etc

I’m using Spam Karma suplemented by the Akismet – Spam Karma plug in. (https://www.sebbi.de/archives/2006/01/31/spam-karma-2-akismet-plugin/)

So far, nothing has managed to get by the combination of blocks.
