I just had something similar happen. I got a pingback from a site that looked like it had something to so with car insurance. Since my blog has nada to do with cars or insurance, I clicked on it to check it out. It led me to a fake blog, where they had just copied and pasted one of my posts. That would have been bad enough, but after a couple of seconds, it automatically rerouted me somewhere else. I don’t really know where, because I got a Norton popup saying that an attempt to attack my computer had been blocked, and then IE stopped responding.

What can I do about this?

contact the owner of the site.

there are ways to block IPS of scripts that might be originating from that site that might be grabbing content remotely, but they arent going to keep the owner from copying and pasting.
