Spam cleanup for Flamingo message storage

I’d like to 2nd this suggestion, I have lots of websites with thousands of old spam messages on them – would be great if these were automatically removed.

Akismet also has an option to “Silently discard the worst and most pervasive spam so I never see it” – however I don’t think this works with Flamingo/Contact Form 7? I emailed Akismet about this and they said it is something that would need to be added to your plugin and that “they can use the X-akismet-pro-tip: discard header that is returned when it’s obvious enough spam that one can safely discard it.”

I’m looking for the same thing because spams are nightmares with Flamingo. They stayed in database, and when you would delete them, it took a long time…

Same, I have over 40 client sites running Flamingo and keeping on top of the spam is ridiculous. We need at least an option to set spam to auto delete after 30 days.

I ran an SQL that got rid of all these, removing it in two seconds – link here: Remove Flamingo Spam messages Contact Form 7 WordPress (using SQL).

It’s hell, I’m uninstalling Flamingo from 60 sites. It’s unmanageable, all this spam to delete by hand! Or by SQL query…

for those aren’t using akismet, just a button “empty spam” (and another one “empty trash”) would be appreciated too

Hi folks, anyone hear any update on this? I have a client asking me to uninstall Flamingo because of the spam removal issue, but I like having it there for the records.
