Spam comments

  • I keep getting spam comments. I click them as “spam” in comments section, but they keep on repetaing, 10 a day.
    I can’t see any option to block an IP of a spammer?
    And whats the point of clicking “it’s a spam” if it doesn’t change anything…

    Hello,

    Clicking on “Spam” button just marks them as spam and does nothing else. This is default behavior from WordPress.

    I would suggest to install some of the protection plugins, such as Wordfence. After installation, you need to tune it, so it works properly with AnyComment. For example, you should allow access to REST API, etc.
