Spam Email Addresses cannot be deleted

    Hi, I have a blog published on our website, where people who want to follow the blog can enter their email address and subscribe. Recently we have been getting a lot of fake subscriptions like this: [email protected]

    We have about 10 like that. In the other cases the numerals after ‘chris’ change, like: [email protected]

    I am trying to delete them from within the plugin, but cannot do that. I select, click delete, but no result.

    Suggestions on what to do please. Would be much appreciated. Our WordPress install is running the 2021 Theme.

    Referring to the above concern, could you let us know if you are using any caching plugins? If yes, then clear the cache after you delete the contact.

    Hi, I apologise for not replying. Yes, clearing the cache solved the problem and I then added a spam trap and all good. Thank you agin. Regards, Roger.
