Spam email submissions

    Hi, I’m moving on from another plugin that was just depreciated. I’ve tried using this plugin twice and both times I’ve installed it, shortly after I start receiving fake email submissions to my email list (many hotmail/yahoo accounts over a short period of time) This wasn’t an issue with the previous plugin we used, and I’m not seeing it with the alternative plugin that I’m using right now either. Any ideas? I’d prefer to use the official plugin if possible.

  • I’ve just seen the same thing. Would be great if the plugin integrated with akismet.

    Sadly I don’t have a great answer for you at the moment. Some spam integration isn’t going to be till likely version 1.3.0. We’re working out some last moment kinks on 1.2.0 before that’s released. Hopefully soon.

    @amartinezwslb, @asilentthing, @czeller if any of you are willing, we’d love some help testing Google reCAPTCHA integration. It’ll be the “I am human” checkbox version, and not invisible version. Let us know and we can provide a copy of the plugin with it. If we confirm success with it, we’ll get it released to everyone.

    Google reCAPTCHA was added in version 1.2.4.
