Spam emails in subscribers list

  • Hello.

    I just tested out the subscriber option with my own email and after going to see the subscribers I saw another 2-3 spammy email addresses that allegedly subscribed.

    Can you please look into it and why is this happening?

    Also, it’s been months since the last update.
    Is the plugin going to be maintained and updated in the future or is it dead?
    It will be a pity because it’s a really nice under construction plugin.

    Hi Catmaniax, we do have plans to continue updating the plugin. Right now we don’t have a way right now to avoid spam emails. We may add a captcha in the future however.

    Each time I put a new email, the rest of the spammy emails appear two and three times, duplicates, in the subscribers screen. Any idea why?
