    Hi

    I am getting occasional spam form submissions, but these emails are not even showing in the reports. Any suggestions?

    Cheers,

    James

    Hello @jjdaley101.

    Do you mean that sometimes you get spam that isn’t in your Anti-Spam logs? Could you provide:

    1. the url of the form the spam comes from;
    2. a link to the plugin the form is made with;
    3. a screenshot of an example of spam?

    Hi Eugene

    I’m not sure which page this email came from yet & the from is on all pages: https://greenversity.co.uk/

    The form is that standard form in he divi theme (I’m using this with cleantalk on numerous other sites, with no issues).

    Here’s the spam email: https://pasteboard.co/k4KS52l1UpJH.png

    And here’s a view of my approved emails today: https://pasteboard.co/Xxd6KmdKdzht.png

    Cheers,

    I tested the form you provided and my data was blocked as intended. The protection is working.

    To make the Anti-Spam Protection stronger, please, do the following:

    • Go to WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings →
    • → set the option “Don’t check trusted user’s comments” to “Off” →
    • → set the option “Set cookies” to “Auto” →
    • → set the option “Use Anti-Spam by CleanTalk JavaScript library” to “On” →
    • → set the option “Add a CleanTalk Pixel to improve IP-detection” to “On” →
    • → enable the options Anti-Flood and Anti-Crawler → Save Changes.
    • Go to WordPress Admin Page → Users → Find spam users.

    Then clear your website cache. Make sure that the website cache is 24 hours or less.

    Did it help you?

    Thanks Serge. I’ll work through that. However, why isn’t the email in the approved email report?

    If these entries are not in the Anti-Spam logs, then our plugin was unable to intercept them. Let’s see if the settings from the previous post will help you. If not, please let us know.
