    Hi.
I installed WP Statistics on a test website which does not appear in search engines and which is password protected. After 1 day I have 52 hits from several countries which obviously originate from robots. In several cases my own domain name appears as referrer with and without “www”. I enabled “Use Honey Pot” in the exclusion section of the settings of wp-statistics, but this did not help.

How can I get rid of this spam shit which makes the statistics unusable?

    Horst

Yes Mine is also showing myself, with me having taken the time to add myself to the exclusion list. Also I paid for the Real-time stats, so obviously that isn’t working properly either. Please Fix!! This is my real money down the drain that I spent in hopes it would fix the problem!
