I have a multisite network with multiple clients on it.

The SZ Google plugin is being used on one site for the Google+ functionality.

Twice now, I have had the owner of a site that DOES NOT have the SZ Google plugin installed call and complain that her site has been hacked with pharmaceutical spam links. Both times, the first thing I have checked was the plugin list to see if anything needs to be updated. Both times SZ Google had an update pending (today SZ Google was the only plugin that needed an update). Both times, when the SZ Google plugin was updated the problem went away.

Is SZ Google possibly causing this? Is this a known issue? I did not see any mention of anything like this in the changelog.

Is SZ Google safe for multisite or should I find a different G+ plugin?

    Helo robertjw

honestly I’m not aware of any problem with the security of the plugin, and then the plugin does not have write function file or database, simply activate the HTML iframe.

I use the plugin on multisite different clients and have never had any problems in this regard. But if your site is being attacked several times trying to remove the plugin and see what happens. If anything keep me posted.

    Good job

OK, thanks for the quick response. If I learn anymore I will let you know.

I will probably remove the plugin and see if the problem comes back.
