Is it correct that in 1.3x the ability for spammers to “pre-spam” based on ID numbers not yet used has been stopped? I thought I saw a post by Matt (Allusion) that mentioned this, or was I just dreaming?

I’m sure that change has been introduced, yes.

Yes that bug has been fixed.

Fixed in 1.21 or implemented in 1.3? Just looking for some clarification.

Allusion just confirmed that the bug was fixed…but I’m not sure if it is fixed for < 1.3x versions…. :\

I was testing a bit more and I added test entry which had 2 spam comments in it right away. How do they do that?

I added the code into the file (wp-comments-post.php) and I added an entry and I have 2 spam comments right away.

I think I read it wrong. I also have to remove some stuff out of the database and from that point on nothing will come. Trying it now.
