• Hi everyone,
I’ve gone ahead and purchased the non-free version of Spam Master only to find that the download link takes me to a .pdf file. Does anyone have experience with TechGasp enough to know if this is a normal part of the process or not?

And on a side note, I’m pretty darn tired of WordPress and spammers. Is it really so hard for the damn software to have at least a few protections built in instead of making people go out and pick through reams of years-old forums content to pick a suitable plugin?

Spam registrations are streaming in, waiting on a good download link. great.

Well, despite the fact that the email says, “Thank you for purchasing Spam Master. Click the link below to download the product:” there is no download link specifically for the advanced version. You must download the free version and then use the download key to upgrade it once it’s installed. I’m a smart guy, maybe not the smartest but I can figure stuff out, and I couldn’t figure this out.
Here’s to hoping this helps someone at some point in the future and that the software actually blocks spammers. Nothing else has so far so maybe this will help.
TechGasp did respond to my ticket so they have that going for them but I’m not a big fan of private ticket support systems.
    Bart
