Spam messages with 42

    For some reason everyone elses replies confirming an issue were deleted, so have another thread on the same problem.

    We’ve had a number of form entries through from different sites that have no other information other than just ’42’.

    All sites are up to date with the latest version of NF, there are different hosts (so not a host issue). Seems that others are having an issue with it too.

    Can anyone shed any light?

    We’ve very recently begun receiving reports similar to yours of certain Ninja Forms submissions triggering spam email under very specific conditions.     Our developers have reported that they have identified how this issue might occur and have a fix prepared.

    A pre-release build of the Ninja Forms core plugin that contains the fix can be found below if you would like to give this a try now:

    Thanks for your prompt replies to this – i’ve updated all our sites to 3.6.24 and i’ll see what happens over the coming days, and if there are any repeated issues.
