Spam Notifications Being Sent

Hello,
I have installed and configured the plugin on our site. I have checked the box to not send notifications if a comment has been marked as spam by Akismet. However, we are still receiving email notifications for comments marked as spam and even comments sent directly to the trash by the WordPress blacklist keyword list. Do you have any suggestions of what might be causing this or what else we could try?
