Spam on upgrade

  • Hi! I *never* get spam with your plugin, unless I do a WP upgrade. I would greatly appreciate any software updates to help remedy the problem. ?? THANK YOU FOR SUCH A TERRIFIC TOOL!!

    Hi Michelle,

    I don’t understand where the problem is… Are you saying the plugin doesn’t work *during* the upgrade process, or after upgrading? What happens that tells you the plugin isn’t working?

    I just checked my own (multi) install, but my spam queue is still empty, just like I expected. I wonder about the nature of the question too. Do you turn off plugins during upgrading (which would be recommended, but I never do it :-).

    Okay, last time, (from 3.0 to 3.1), after the upgrade when I reactivated all my plugins, I got a whirlwind of spam. I also noticed that the count for the Captcha was stagnate. There was a real problem, it was fixed, the plugin worked.

    This time, I got a whirlwind of spam, but the Captcha count keeps ticking. So, I double checked my settings. I redid my public and private keys, and so far today I haven’t had any more spam.
