Spam passing through

What you say is correct… in fact the plugin recognizes the spam and reports it to Contact Form 7 that returns the error notice in the frontend below the form.
The issue is that, this seems not to happen and the email is sent anyway even if it is spam. Can i ask you the version of Contact Form 7, Flamingo and, if you have any plugin that can modify wp_mail() behavior like smtp plugins?

– The spam mails that have sent are stored in flamingo “Inbound Messages” under inbox or under spam?
– if you send to yourself a spam mail (using a bad word for example) below the contact form do you get an error message? and you receive the email?

Thanks for replying.
CF7 and Flamingo are both the latest version and there’s no smtp plugins.
I’ve sent a test message using some bad words and there was no error message. The message was sent and stored in the Inbound messages.
I’ll try to setup a new form and test it, maybe there’s something wrong with my form.

hello @royimaginet, did you solve it? It came to my mind that this could happen if you haven’t added among the additional form settings a line with flamingo_message: "[your-message]" (or whatever your message field is called).
