Spam Protection / Captcha

I really like your plugin! It simply works ??

But we are facing issues with a lot of fake signups on our website.

We do not want to use Google-captcha as we try to use services from Google as little as possible.

Are there other options that I could integrate into our forms to avoid these spam signups?
