Spam quiz is not working

The spam prevention quiz doesn’t seem to work correctly. You can type in any answer and the post will be submitted. I’m getting a LOT of spam as a result.
I’m no great coder, but when I view quiz.js in the WP plug-in editor, it shows up as “inactive” even after re-installing the plug-in.
Help, please!
