spam subscribers

Release a new version of Email Subscriber(v 3.5.10) addressing “Spam signup” issue.
It will stop spam signups.

Hello, We have 3.5.18 installed and are being inundated with Russian bot spam signups. We also see that the Captcha option, as described below, has been removed from the Admin? The Enable Captcha link shows this, which is inaccurate.

Is protection from bots now available only in the subscription version?

I would like to update you that the captcha option is only available in Email Subscribers Pro and not in the free version of the plugin. However, we have released Email Subscribers 4.0 and it will give you an option to block emails from a specific domain. Please do have a recheck after updating the plugin.

Hi, the option to block domains has helped a great deal, thank you.

Now however, notifications are not going out when new posts are published. There is not activity in the reports since I updated the plugin to the latest version. I’ve check all the settings, categories, etc. Nothing seems to have changed.

Could you help, or should I open a separate item?
