Spambot and Validation Script

    Hi

    Does the plugin have a strong validation script? For instance, warn users if email does not exist, or if they are making a common typos (gmial.com vs. gmail.com)?

    Also, is there a way to prevent spambots from being added to lists? Does the plugin utilize opt-in throttling or honeypot fields?

    I hope you’re well today!

    Does the plugin have a strong validation script? For instance, warn users if email does not exist, or if they are making a common typos (gmial.com vs. gmail.com)?

    It does have basic e-mail validation in that sense that it checks the format but it doesn’t validate the e-mail existence and doesn’t check for common typos. It can however prevent “duplicate subscription” as it can check if a submitted e-mail already exists in its internal list or a connected app (integration – such as eg MailChimp).

    Also, is there a way to prevent spambots from being added to lists? Does the plugin utilize opt-in throttling or honeypot fields?

    There’s a built-in reCaptcha integration so you only need to add your reCaptcha Site Key and Secret Key in configuration and it can be used on Hustle capture form.

    Everything seems to be working OK with reCAPTCHA.
