• I have received a number of e-mail subscriptions to my blog that are obviously spams. Some of them have been able to post unauthorized non-appropriate articles and advertisements on my blog. The only solution I have been able to find is to deactivate the e-mail subscription and comments functions altogether. After deactivating these functions, I am still receiving spam oriented e-mail subscriptions, but they don’t seem to be able to post unauthorized articles. Is there a way to totally eliminate these annoying spams from coming in? Thanks.

In regard to comment spam, see Combating Comment Spam.

I don’t understand what you mean by email subscription spam. Email subscriptions as I understand the term is a mechanism where content you generate is emailed to subscribers. It is not a mechanism to introduce content on your site.

Are you referring to the post via email feature by any chance? Or is this some plugin I’m unfamiliar with? Sorry for being dense, I wish to help you, but I can’t until I understand how content is being introduced onto your site.
