• So now if you have Elementor installed, you are urged to install this plugin when you upload an image that it decides “is large and may slow things down.” There is no disclosure that you are expected to pay for this plugin (there is a free trial) and apparently no way to disable the spammy plugin install prompts, and there are several 1-star reviews complaining about this. It may be an excellent plugin for all I know but I’m sorry, the way you’re going about this is deceitful and makes me not want to use Elementor.

  • Hello Cole, we are sorry to hear you feel this way about the tips shown in the Elementor editor.

The tips are designed to appear in the moments where they could be more helpful, and they can be dismissed with a click so they won’t show up again.

With that being said we understand where you are coming from and appreciate your feedback, we will see if it’s possible to add an option to hide these tips completely.
