• Create a new page, enter the content using the “Text” tab and utilise the <span> tag.
    Edit this page then click the “Visual” tab. Resave the page.
    The <span> tags have now been removed.
    I’d guess the sanitation is being too strict when saving the data.

    What’s the full context of your span tags?

    If it’s <span>This is text</span> then I can see this happening.

    Also keep in mind switching back and forth between Visual and Text has always been quirky :/

    Yes that’s correct. The bug has been around for a while now but is only a minor thing. I was hoping it might creep up the list a little now.

    Okay so this isn’t actually an alpha/beta bug then. It’s a TinyMCE one, I agree, but this isn’t new ?? I’m moving this out to troubleshooting.
