Spanish Translation

    Hello,
    WordPress Translation is one of my weakness, so my question maybe is dumb.
    To get my spanish translation working I have to rename “kadence-es_ES.po” and .mo to “es_ES.po” and .mo in Kadence languages folder. But these files are overwritten on updates, so I have to install Loco translate and copy them to a custom folder.
    What’s going on?

  • Hey,
    You are right. The files names shouldn’t have kadence in them, that is whats needed for plugins. The file came from a user who translated through loco translate and I forgot to remove kadence from the file name when I added. You can update the file name on your site. I will make sure the next theme update fixes that.
