sparkling theme make menu item open category

i am using the sparkling theme https://www.ads-software.com/themes/sparkling/
i have nested categories
so i havemainCat (parent category)
-subCat1(chlid)
-subCat12 (chlid)Now when i create a header menu i want the mainCat to be click able right now it is not clickable it has # as the href
how to achieve this?
