    Hi,
Since Mandrill is merged with Mailchimp, and that Mailchimp recommends moving to Sparkpost (for those for want a standalone transactional email service), do you intend to add a Sparkpost integration (API) to this (great) plugin?
    Regards,
    Christian

  • Hi @kkzk we’re working on this right now – you can follow along at https://github.com/SparkPost/wordpress-sparkpost/issues/4 – we’re getting very close – I expect a release this week.

Fantastic ! I will wait for the update to move to Sparkpost. ?? Can not imagine I would run my websites without your great plugin!

Yes I will integrate the Sparkpost API with Postman SMTP. FYI, the work @richleland is doing is not for Postman SMTP.

is SparkPost supported at this point?

oops fast return key. will it support SparkPost templates?

I just want to comment on here that I am using SparkPosts’s SMTP relay settings with success even without API integration into Postman. Just set up a free account, verify your domain and use the SMTP details in a manual config of the plugin. Seems to be okay so far.

Any update on Sparkpost support? When POSTMAN is active, sparkpost does not use the templates.

Sorry to be a pest here, but is there any update on the SparkPost API? Currnetly, when Postman is activated, Sparkpost templates will not work.

I really need the Sparkpost integration also. Any progress on that front?

Just for my understanding and not meaning to be disrespectful to the Postman plugin developer, but if you use Sparkpost as your smtp relay service, why would you use the Postman plugin instead of Sparkpost’s own wordpress plugin?? Can anyone here please explain?

cause it’s nicer to have a one-stop-shop solution? I prefer postman SMTP’s relay over all other SMTP relay wordpress plugins I used in the past. Best troubleshooting within the plugin. But Sparkpost’s solution is fine too.

    NOT RELIABLE FOR BUSINESS USAGE

Just dumped Sparkpost today… Just 48 hours after they suspended ALL of our outgoing business emails (including eCommerce order notifications).

We only send about 100-200 eMails a day through them, and have been for about the last year. We’ve had No prior issues, no prior warnings, no prior suspensions, etc. Clean as clean gets.

Why did we get suspended without warning. Because of ONE email with a suspicious link (according to them).

We acted immediately. We tried replying to their complaint (right away). We tried again a few hours later. We tried calling their office (they have no telephone help available, only email). We even opened another Case Email… nothing back for 2 full days.

What was the “suspicious link” … it was me personally replying to my brother-in-law who sent me an email for a local gun store sale in his home town… REALLY Sparkpost!!!

Not sure if anyone else is better, but we’re giving another provider a try now.

As you are sending only 1:1 personalized/personal emails (Not Spam), so there is no point why the account will get suspended. Check if the things are getting resolved at Sparkpost or else you can try out Pepipost. It is Not just any Transactional Email Service. At Pepipost, we don’t just inbox your critical business emails. We encourage and reward you for your good sender practices.

    Any progress on this one?

Struggling to get SparkPost setup through SMTP Relay settings. I tried all possible options and am still stuck.

@dannida could you help? I am getting an error “Invalid “From” e-mail address “[email protected]” irrespective what “from” address I use.

    @ntjedge

This already works well for SparkPost integration.
