Special character heading not working.

Entries with special characters (also accented as are in my case) are displayed incorrectly and click doesn’t work and basically stops the table of content from working

Anyway previously we had no issues (but i don’t know which update of the plugin started to cause it).

Same here running on Qi Theme. It is also affecting characters such as ??ü??ü and it came with version 2.0.56.

When doing a rollback to 2.0.55 the issue disappears.

Hi, thanks for confirming this. We had an issue after the last update, so we already have a GitHub ticket in our repository. We now have a solution ready, and it will be addressed in the upcoming update. You can check the commit. https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/Easy-Table-of-Contents/issues/608
