• Hello,

I have just installed this plugin and its great, really fits my needs, just I hve mentioned that once I manually add a collection with special characters like ?????yáí after save I finnish with ?????yáí ….

I have no problem with this while posting a topic on the blog.
    Any hints?

    Thank you.

Where are you adding the special characters? Some fields (partitularly the barcode) cannot have special characters.

    Hi Robert,
Maybe I have expressed myself incorrect, the thing is about saving diacritics, characters like ?????yáíéň and their capital counterparts.
For better perspective here is attached screenshot of saved collection item… https://imgur.com/MTiAadu

It may have something with language coding or so, I don’t have similar issues in the other tables on my wp db.

    Thank you in advance.
    Regards

I don’t see anything in the screenshot.

Thats strange, as it is clearly visible and the screenshot is available.

How is it possible that characters with diacritics are changed into ?? (read – question marks) after saving the collection item (read – after saving to mysqldb). What should I do to avoid this behaviour?

    Thank you in advance.

All I see at the URL you have given is a large blank area in the main content area. There are a bunch of things in the side bar and there is some heading stuff. Can you send a link to the actual image and not to the image sharing site? I’m guessing the image sharing site only really works if one is logged in or something. Also, it might be that because I have a slow Internet access (I’m on dialup) it might not work. Also, I am doing this from a Linux system with Firefox 24 (no I don’t have a MS-Windows maching available, so don’t even suggest that).
