Special characters being removed from links

Hi amdweb82, you actually found a core WP bug in their redirect sanitization.

I can’t do too much unfortunately without switching away to non-WordPress methods of redirecting. We use wp_redirect as it does a lot of this kind of sanitization for us, but unfortunately in this case it seems it’s being a little overly cautious.

Looks like this has been patched and will be in WP 4.0. I don’t think they’ve set a date for 4.0 yet though I’d expect it’ll be out in a couple of months.

The patch is there if you need it desperately, it’s a one line change.
