Specific Booking Requirements

    I like the look of this plugin and I am thinking of purchasing it but I need some specific requirements on my bookings page.

    Is it possible to limit bookings to specific time slots at specific times of the day. Let me explain . . . we are a music rehearsal studio and clients can book rehearsals that are 1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs, 4hrs, 6hrs, 8hrs, 10 hrs or 12hrs in duration. However, most bands book 2hr slots. In the evening we can get two bands in if one starts at 6pm and the second comes in at 8:30pm. But if a band books 7-9pm we can only get one band in that evening so I need to limit bookings of 2hr rehearsals to 6pm or 8:30pm. Likewise, a 3hr rehearsal is fine as long as it finishes at 8pm. A 4hr or longer rehearsal can be booked at any time. Ideally, we wouldn’t allow 1hr bookings in the evenings.

    Through the day, up until 5:30pm, any length of rehearsal can be booked.

    We also need 30 minutes between bookings to give us time to cleans etc.

    Is all this possible with Webba?

    We currently use another plugin but it has issues syncing with Google Calendar.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

    If I understand correctly, only one band can come at the same time, correct?

    If so I would recommend the following configuration:

    1. Service with the duration 30 minutes.
    2. Option Multiple booking in one session turned on the User interface section on the Settings page.

    With such configuration your customers will be able to book a batch of time slots. For example, if they want to book 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm they pick 4 time slots. To close 30 mins interval after booking, add the service in the option Lock one time slot before and after booking on the Booking rules section of the settings page.

    The alternative configuration can create service for each duration – 1h, 2h …etc. This way customers will choose a service first and after that pick one time interval from the list of available. The lack of this method is that you can’t automatically close 30 mins time slot after the booking (you will need to do it manually). If you choose to use this approach please make sure to enable the option Autolock bookings on the Booking rules section of the Webba Settings page. Also for this method I’d recommend to set Step parameter of each service equals 30 (for more flexibility)
