    Hi,

I am trying to simply add an existing ad to a new post I just published. In the ad conditions, I try to add the new post to the list of current posts and pages where the ad displays, but when I try to add it in the “title or id”, when I put in the form words of the title of my new post or even the ID of the post, I get only a very partial list of pages (no post) that do not fit the title words I search for…

This is a very strange bug preventing me to correctly use the plugin to add the ad…

    Hi Nick,

the plugin was pulled by the www.ads-software.com plugin-team for some security concerns in the backend. They were fixed in 1.8.13. Since WordPress caches the checks for updates, it might just take a bit until you see it in your backend.

    Hi,

It finally appeared in the updates for my plugin and I’ve been able to update it. The search problem appeared for 2 ads and the update solved one of the 2, but not the other. I’m still insvestigating for what can cause the fact the post does not appear using its title or ID…

I’ll get back to you if I cannot solve it and will give you access to my site.

But if you can get back for why Wordfence sent a notification about your plugin has been removed form WordPress…

    Hi Nick,

WordFence just noticed that the plugin was blocked on www.ads-software.com. The reason the plugin team did that was for missing checks in some admin forms. I added those checks and so the plugin is available again.

    Hi Thomas,

I have a little problem. I just created an image ad on my site and I setup no “display conditions” in order to get the ad to display on the right sidebar everywhere on my site. It works correctly and displays almost everywhere, as you can see the book cover on the top right on pages like this: https://www.nicolassarrasin.com/comment-se-forment-conflits-personnels-malheur-identite.

But the ad does not display on “category” pages, like: https://www.nicolassarrasin.com/sujet/psychologie.

Is that a bug or something I do wrong? (I thought using “no condition” would display everywhere)

    Thanks for your advices,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,

I just checked such a setup (image ad in right sidebar) on my test site and they were working properly, so I think it shouldn’t be a general issue.

I can only offer you to send me your theme for testing through https://wpadvancedads.com/support.

    Happy Holidays!

I check back and see that your site does not accept the theme with its 2 zip files. So, I cannot send them to you… I use Genesis theme and executive pro child theme.

Just send me an email without the attachment. I will reply after the holidays so that you can then send me the files in the reply.
