I’m sure it doesn’t really make any difference to the actual page load speed, but whenever I run the Pingdom page speed test it warns me that the combined and minified CSS and JS files are missing a cache validator. Is this something that could be easily added for the sake of improving this page speed score?

    Hi Chromasia,

These new features are truly increase the score from many page testing tool.

For minified CSS and JS files are missing case, first you can check Response Headers from web developer tool. You should find entry called “etag” and “x-litespeed-cache:hit”. If you can not find both of them and got some error message, you should try to fix this part first, otherwise page speed score will not change.

If you have no idea about how to fixing the issue, you can send a ticket from here. https://store.litespeedtech.com/store/clientarea.php

@jscrm – I’m not sure, but I’ve resolved the issue now. The problem was that my .htaccess file was removing the etag.
