    Hi,
I sort of got this to work in wp 3.6.1 but the CSL parameter in the shortcode seems to break it.

This shortcode will display the year, but not the publications:
    *** mendeley type=”folders” id=”FOLDER ID” groupby=”year” csl=”https://MYSITE/NAME OF CSL FILE.csl ***

This shortcode will display as expected, but I need the custom csl file:
    ***mendeley type=”folders” id=”FOLDER ID” groupby=”year” ***

I’ve messed around with a bunch of server settings, checked my php (json and curl active and working). Is there another specific setting and/or service I need to check?

I am on bluehost if anyone has the same issue on with that server. I spent about 3 hours on the phone with them today troubleshooting this and they are at a loss, as am I. They recommended I contact the developer for a list of services required.

Lastly, does anyone know if this plugin has been retired or is no long supported? It looks like it would be a great solution, but need to find another solution if it is flapping in the wind…

Many thanks to anyone who can help!

The plugin is not retired … the author just does not work on it all the time. There will be an updated version with new features (and bugfixes) soon. I will also look into the problem you described in you post.
