    Dear Tony,

That is exactly how Spider FAQ works. When you insert the shortcode, you need to choose the category.

    Thank you.

Oh OK. However I’ve searched both your website and the WordPress page on the plugin and cannot see any details of available shortcodes apart from the standard [Spider_FAQ id=”N”]. Could you direct me to the appropriate page?
    Many thanks

    Dear Tony,

Please use the button on the post/page editor to insert the shortcode. It should look like this: https://snag.gy/yOpUU.jpg

    Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I clicked on the question mark as you suggested but that only gives me a choice of the list of FAQ’s. It doesn’t appear to allow me to specify a category in the short ode which is what I want to do?

My apologies! I think I now understand how Spider FAQ works! I need to create separate Spider FAQ sections to which I can add the categories that I want to appear in that FAQ section. If I want all the categories to appear then I add all the categories to the relevant section. If I only want one category to appear then I only add that particular category. In both cases I would need to add the relevant section ID to my site page.

You are working on an update form me that that gives me the option to collapse all categories if I have more than one category on a page.

Again my apologies for not understanding how Spider FAQ worked. My 70 year old brain is sometimes slow to understand many things!

    Thanks again

    Dear Tony,

Please be informed, that this option unfortunately is not available, but you can choose the categories, which you need to add into an FAQ.

    Thank you.
