Spectra One, Critical Error on This Website Message

  • I am getting and error when I try to view my Spectra One website:

    “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    I have disabled all plugins, except for the Spectra, and Spectra Pro plugins. I have also deleted and reinstalled the Spectra One theme. Nothing has worked, so far. If I switch to another theme, the website works as planned, but is no longer formatted correctly. The website is hosted on HostGator. Any help is appreciated.

  • I have the same issue. I fixed it by deactivating the Gutenberg plugin which I use. The theme is most likely not compatible with the latest version of Gutenberg.

    Thanks, you nailed it. I should have said that I disabled all plugins except Gutenberg. Everything working as expected again. Thanks!

    I had the same issue and resorted to roll back to the previous version. Now, with the fix-update the system should skip the buggy-release.

    For me, this happened only when the Gutenberg plugin is active and the theme is Spectra One. So I deactivated Gutenberg until the next version of Spectra One is released

    EDIT: if you cannot access your dashboard, simple rename the plugins/gutenberg folder from FTP

    EDIT2: Brainstorm Force solved it with Spectra One 1.1.2 released yesterday
