    This plugin is working great but it does a lot of connection to various FB site which have quite some impact on the page full load time.

    Isn’t there a way to optimize this behavior? local js hosting? Caching?

    Thanks for the reaching out to us and sorry for the inconvenience happen to you.

    We are using Facebook’s Embeddable page widget for display Facebook’s events. So all connections are generating by Facebook’s Embedded widget and unfortunately, we don’t have control over it. This is something which is don’t comes under our hood. few connections are already cached by facebook you can check it here.
