• Even though stated at WP 4.4.3, it has worked great with 4.5.2. I combined speed booster pack with a static caching plugin and one other. And no it is now W3 total cache or the other big two. But his caching plugin rocks.
Speed Booster Pack is not for every theme. The more bells and whistles the less you should use speed booster pack IMO and from my tests. And don’t mindlessly go clicking all the options, that will not work. Stick with the left side speed options and the more speed except leave unchecked disable css for mobile. I have twenty sixteen turning out insights moble of 90+ speed with 100/100 user satisfaction regularly.

While twenty sixteen does not have all the bells and whistles of other themes, Google is not measuring bells and whistles. Google is measuring page load speed.

How about GTMetrix of 97 page load 91 yslow and 0.4 load speed by reducing the junk woff font and google fonts api calls reduced the page requests on one site from 17 to 9. Less page requests means more page load speed.

So does Speed Booster Pack work. From my testing on 5 sites, I would say yes if used intelligently and in conjunction with a good static html caching plugin and one other.

The only thing the plugin author could do would to be add inclusion boxes for those misc query strings in static resources that it does not now catch and same for misc js script to defer parsing.

I forgot. lazy load images on slows down every site I tired it on and with every theme I tested. Better to use a dedicated lazy load IMO.
A great web host running ssd drives also helps immensely.
