Speed improvements?

    The rest of my site is lightning fast but loading a page with Better Recent Comments on it takes 6 seconds. I have about 130,000 comments.

    Is there any way to improve the speed?

    Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I’ve just released a new version (1.0.4) of the plugin which may improve things. Could you update and let me know?

    Hi Andy,

    Query Monitor is indicating 3 slow queries coming from your plugin, so I came here and I found this topic.

    The version available here is still 1.0.3. I couldn’t find version 1.0.4.

    Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Not sure what happened with the previous release – I think there was a glitch somewhere in SVN. Anyway, 1.0.4 is now definitely available for download/update. Let me know if any further problems….
